Third round action at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships continued yesterday at the All-England Club in London, England.

Gentlemen's Singles: Roger Federer (3) defeats David Nalbandian (6-4, 6-2, 6-4),  Novak Djokovic (2) defeats Marcos Baghdatis (32) (6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4), Rafael Nadal (1) defeats Gilles Muller (7-6(8-6), 7-6(7-5), 6-0), Bernard Tomic defeats Robin Soderling (5) (6-1, 6-4, 7-5), Lukasz Kubot defeats Gael Monfils (9) (6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3), David Ferrer (7) defeats Karol Beck (6-4, 6-3, 6-3)
Ladies' Singles: Caroline Wozniacki (1) defeats Jarmila Gajdosova (27) (6-3, 6-2),  Serena Williams (7) defeats Maria Kirilenko (26) (6-3, 6-2), Maria Sharapova (5) defeats Klara Zakopalova (6-2, 6-3), Petra Cetkovska defeats Ana Ivanovic (18) (6-2, 7-6(7-0)
Soccer: For the first 29 minutes of the CONCACF Gold Cup Final at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, the United States looked dominant against boarder rival Mexico. Michael Bradley and Landon Donovan both scored to put the Americans up 2-0.
   However, a goal in the 29th minute by Pablo Barrera was the first of four straight by Mexico to defeat the United States in CONCACF Gold Cup Final; 4-2. Andres Guardado ('36), Barrera ('50) and Giovani Dos Santos ('76) also scored for Mexico.
   Tim Howard had five saves for the United States.
