NBA Draft Preview (Part 2)

The NBA Draft is now officially only a week away.
For part two of my NBA Draft preview, the other player who could possibly drafted first by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Derrick Williams, is my subject.
Williams is a 6'8, 248lb power forward from La Mirada, California. He played at Arizona for two years averaging last year 19.5 points and 8.3 rebounds. Leading the Wildcats to the Elite Eight, Williams was also named Pac 10 Player of the Year and was a Sports Illustrated First Team All American.
Strengths: Williams is a dominant scorer inside the paint.  He has good footwork to perform low post moves, and is quick enough for those moves to be effective against taller opponents. He is also great at attacking the basket, whether it would be a layup or a dunk. He does both well with ease. While doing this, Williams draws fouls very easy. On the defensive side of the ball, Williams is also an NBA caliber player. He stays out of foul trouble for the most part and does a good job at blocking shots and boxing out to rebound the ball.
Weakness: He is considered to be a little short for the power forward position and might lack the strength of opponents. Williams is also known for not having a consistent mid-range jumpshot, which would be really nice to have at that forward spot.
Overall Conclusion: Derrick Williams shows a lot of promise going into the NBA. He is very explosive inside the paint and attacks the basket with attitude.Williams is also a good defender who could be depended upon in late game situations. If he is able to improve his mid-range jumper, Williams could be very very good in the league.
Derrick Williams Will Go? Most likely at two to Minnesota. Kyrie Irving looks to be sealed at one to Cleveland because of his complete point guard game. Williams would be a nice addition for the Timberwolves to help improve its inside game with Kevin Love. Williams and Love could be a good duo for years to come.
